Linda, mother of an adult son with Asperger's and mild learning disorders

“My son’s SquID is easy, smart, durable, and attractive. I feel much safer and more comfortable knowing that he has it. And I plan on buying one for me!”

Linda’s son lives with allergies, mild learning disorders, and asperger's, and while he has deftly handled his disabilities, his mother has always been concerned that in the event of trouble he would have a difficult time interacting with emergency responders and good sumaritans, especially because he does not like verbally explaining his health background. Linda, who has never bought a medical ID for her son before, first saw a SquID on a friend, and she was immediately interested.

“My son has sensory issues, he doesn’t even wear a watch, and most medical bracelets are clunky, heavy and ugly. These are lightweight and comfortable, which is a huge benefit for him. Just having one with him gives me peace of mind. Instead of having to explain his complicated history, he can simply show the piece to somebody, who can then get the whole picture immediately. I’ll be buying one for me to help me manage my own medications as well!”
